What is this? I’m not sure, but it’s FREAKY and certainly not “normal”. Is it a trick of the camera? I tend to think NOT. Personally, I find the most convincing videos of the paranormal to be the ones “caught on cell phone camera”. Why? Because they always seem to be the most authentic, natural. Also, I know from my own background in “filmmaking” that it is much more difficult to manipulate video taken from a cell phone camera.
I believe there’s an art to deciphering videos of the paranormal. By that I mean, you really have to take into consideration EVERYTHING that is happening in the video and keep it all in context. For instance, why is the person filming in the first place? Are they filming something happening “in the natural”, and just by chance they seem to capture something unusual? Or does it seem “staged”. I’ve seen a TON of these types of videos. The least authentic to me are the ones where the person filming is following something “unnatural”, like when they are randomly filming a walk in the woods and then suddenly they see a ghost, a monster, or an entity.
This video grabbed my attention because it appears that the person filming is following the actions of a couple of guys that seem to be checking something out in the woods (not sure what). But the guys on camera are focused on an oblect lying on the ground (perhaps a dead animal). One of them is poking it with a stick. And then, from behind them and seemingly “out of nowhere” the camera picks up on “something” running up behind them. The guys on camera don’t seem to notice it. This is not uncommon. It reminds me of “spirit photography”. Often times people will take a picture of something and then later pick up on unusual images or “entities” that only exist in the picture. You’ll find many of the “monster” and “ghost” videos on my site share this common characteristic.
Check it out for yourself.
You decide!
